Hangers

So I was watching Nate Burkus the other day and he had a great tip that I thought I would share with you:
Make sure all of you hangers are the same, and When you are hanging your clothes up hang the hangers in the closet backwards...After Six months go through you closet and any articles still hanging backwards you need to get rid of. Either donate them, Bring them to the consignment store or you could even sell them on Ebay.

Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!

I found this great tip at myhomeideas.com

If you are keeping your shoeboxes, label what is inside. We like the Post-it Durable Tabs because they offer a writable surface and are quick and easy to apply. Alternatively, invest in clear shoeboxes with drawer-front pulls; they allow you to see what’s inside so you can easily access your shoes.

I personally like to use the hanging organizer for my shoes. You can still see the all of your shoes and it conveniently hand on the back of a door.

Great tips From Good House Keeping!

Hi Everyone I found this great tip on GoodHousekeeping.com and I wanted to share it with you.

The best way to conquer clothes clutter: Hold your own once-a-year fashion show. Empty the closet, then try on each garment in front of a full-length mirror. Does it fit? With what outfits and on what occasions will you wear it? Does it need mending? Will you ever be able to get out that ink stain? Separate pieces into four piles: keep, mend, donate, throw away. Follow the same steps for shoes. Now you can start organizing the keepers, eking out extra space with over-the-door storage and hanging shelves.
